Contributions of Latino's in STEM
The “Contributions of Latino’s in STEM” exhibit is the second exhibit by MEP. The exhibit is composed of ten posters of Hispanic inventors in different areas of science, engineering, medicine and technology. It is child friendly and very interactive with hands on activities coordinated with each area. For example, a child would learn how the circulation of the heart works as they read about Dr. Miquel Servetus. Dr. Jose Hernandez-Rebollar invented the Accelerate Glove for sign language so at that station children can build with electrical kits performing over 100 experiments.
